Since my Ethernet interface is not recoginized,
I tried the following command:
ifconfig eth0 192.168.3.4 netmask 255.255.255.0
I got the following message:
SIOCSIFADDR: NO such device
SIOCSIFNETMASK: No such device
I am sure there is no physical problem with my Ethernet card,
