This doesn't work. There's a HUGE problem with the firefox install on
Debian since the last week. I have a gadzillion plus options for paper

I'm submitted this as a pre

I run firefox under Sarge, using Debian repository version of firefox
Recent posts on this list indicate that there is a (non-functioning)
way to indicate paper size for printing in firefox. I can't find any
such controls in the firefox that I have running here. Where are they?
Is it implemented by

I don't know how it got its complicated commands options before,
however now they are gone and printing is wonderfully simple again.

Dear Gurus,
I have got one of my Debian boxes into a funny state. :)
I have many different machines, usually running sid or sarge.
On one of my sid machines I am trying to print from firefox and I see that it
has trouble with printing.
When I push print the error dialog that pops up says

Greetings list
I have several extraneous printers in my Firefox (1.07) print dialog in my pure
sid system. They each end @:64 (such as hppsc1200@:64). The archives at
http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2005/06/msg00282.html
suggest this is caused by Xprint being installed. I really don't care

Hi,
I print using the cups printing system.
However when I try to print from mozilla-firefox and invoke print i get a
dialog with a drop down menu that includes
hp_laserjet@:64
xp_ps_spooldir_HOME_Xprintjobs@:64
...
Postscript/hp_laserjet
now the first ones (until Postscript/hp_laserjet) don't
I can print from Firfox, but I'm having a problem with the size of the
output. It is large, The print from Konqueror seems to be about 2 points
smaller than what I get from Firefox. I have the fonts in Firefox set at
12 point, but the print out is bigger. Are there some other areas I can
check?

I can't say I am very happy with the printing support in Firefox. It
does find CUPS and XPrint printers (or maybe it's XPrint that finds the
CUPS printers), but what I'd really like is to print two pages on each
side (ala 'a2ps -2'). Anyone who knows how I can achieve that?
