Hello. I installed debian Potato on a K6-266 box with 64m memory and am having minor technical difficulties with the mouse. I did apt-get install Gnome, used tasksel to install all the x stuff, and did xf86config but when I try to start the x-server, it crashes and tells me that it can't find

X cannot find mouse (new installation)

Hello. I created a new Debian system last night, downloading 'stable' from ftp.debian.org. In trying to run XFree86, I get this server error message: Fatal server error: Cannot open mouse (No such file or directory) I cannot figure this out, becase I was using the same /etc/X11/XF86Config file
