This is what I get when installing the package: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=613667 Looks like my laptop does not use APM anymore. However it does not look like ACPI is supported: $ find /proc/acpi/thermal_zone /proc/acpi/thermal_zone The directory is empty ! On Wed, Feb 1
