Thanks for the help. I actually figured this out myself but now I know
that it was the right way to do it.
People would probably avoid many of these problems if the installation
program was cleaver enough to list the fat32 partition as a possible
source for the base installation. Simply selecti

I would like to install Debian from my FAT32 partition,
but the installation image does not understand FAT32!
Surely someone must have made an image available
that can read
