What's with abiword fonts on sarge?

2004-11-01 Thread Hendrik Boom
Until recently, sarge's abiword wouldn't print on my hetworked Brother `870N printer, connected through CUPS and ethernet. A recent upgrade fixed that. But now it persists in printing everything in a too-large type face, and all the italics are replaces by sans-serif straight up and down font

Abiword & Fonts

2004-04-25 Thread Vittorio
I have two debian testing boxes where -both under kde- run abiword (all installed via apt-get). Now it happens that - using abiword - in one box I can use many more fonts than in the other. As an example in one box I can select "Caligula", and "Dragonwick", fonts which are missing in the other.

Since this is at least the third time you've asked and no one seems to have an answer, I'd suggest contacting the maintainer and/or filing a bug report. It sounds like maybe abiword-fonts should be a seperate package. Bob Quoting Rohan Deshpande <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: >

Removing AbiWord fonts

2002-04-04 Thread Rohan Deshpande
Hi, I was just wondering if there is a way to disallow the abiword package in Debian sid to replace the fonts in /usr/share/AbiSuite/fonts/ and remove the ones I have put myself. This seems to happen every time AbiWord is updated. Any advice? Thanks -- Rohan Deshpande [EMAIL PROTECTED] --
