how about putting 'linux' and 'printer' into a search engine, you may find something like http://www.linuxprinting.org/ which tells you what works with Linux (but not Debian/testing specifically) Personally, I've a Brother HL-5150D which does duplex and wasn't expensive but I do have some proble
