I was recently going through some back-issues of magazines in an attempt
to get "caught-up" when I ran across a little table that got me thinking.

Not everything on this list needs to be strictly Debian related. Many
people get their first contact with Linux/*nix via Debian, so these
questions are expected.

I've used FIPS some a couple of years ago - I really liked what it can
do. However, the is one caveat - when shrinking a partition with a FAT
file system, remember t

Howdy Carlo!
Yes, there is a utility to manipulate the serial ports - it's called
setserial. It's available of the Debian FTP server as:
/debian/unstable/binary/base/setserial_2.12-4.deb
Once installed, check out the man page:
man setserial
Also, check out:
/usr/doc/setserial/README

I've not yet worked with one - though I plan on it RSN - but how about
one of the PCMCIA ISDN Cards? There are a couple of companies that
offer ISA adapters: one company has three products 1) ISA card that supports
1 PC Card accessible from the rear of the computer, 2) ISA card that
supports 2 PC

Howdy all,
I'm wanting to setup multiple hdimages of various sizes for use in
dosemu-0.66.3-1. I've tried using mkhdimage with little or no success.
I can create the drive, but as soon as I copy 1 or more files to it,
DOSEMU fails to recognize it as a valid drive. I've read all of the
