Hej everybody,
i have some troubles with my synaptics touchpad. Namely, by default it
has a feature which i don't like (a sort of scrollling, when i touch
the bottom part of the pad). I can switch it off, by running gsynaptics
as root, and then uncheck "activate horizontal/vertical scrolling"

I did the following :
# apt-get --purge remove alsa-base alsa-utils alsa-oss alsamixergui
# apt-get install alsa-base alsa-utils alsa-oss alsamixergui
Then, re-select "alsa" as sound system in KDE "control center".
The sound works, but at each reboot, i "need" to do
alsaconf to recover the sound
I still don't know what caused the problem, but i solved it :
# apt-get --purge remove alsa-base alsa-utils alsa-oss alsamixergui
# apt-get install alsa-base alsa-utils alsa-oss alsamixergui
Then, re-select "alsa" as sound sytems in KDE "configuration center"
Thanks to everybody for remarks, ad

Hello,
I'm working with a Debian testing distribution, and i have no sound
anymore for 1 week. My problem grew in 2 steps, each time probably
after a "apt-get upgrade" :
1/ Several weeks ago, the sound stopped working after each reboot. To
solve that, i run "alsaconf", which detected the sound ca
