vfat and sync support as mount option

Hello, Is there a way to mount a fat filesystem with option sync ? I read in the manpage of mount that only ext2, ext3 and ufs can use sync, but I need it on an usb stick which, of course, works only with vfat. I already try to force the use of sync over vfat, but I get a kernel oops. Thanks.

Hi, I try to make kppp work with a normal user (so, not root). I had this user to group dip and dialup. Now it tells me that I can't use the ppp option "noauth" without root privilege ... Is there a way to use kppp with my normal user account, and without making pppd setuid root ? -- To UNSUBS

hi all. I try to compile a driver (nvnet) which includes the file /usr/include/linux/module.h. This file should include the file /usr/include/linux/modversions.h, but it desn't exist anymore :/ where is this file (I think it existed before, because I already succeeded in compiling this module)
