pppd dies when dialing with wvdial & modem sound?

Can anyone tell me how to config DNS when dialing with wvdial?

Hi,all, I am using wvdial to dial to my isp ,after it starts pppd ,I can not lynx www.debian.org ,lynx can not locate www.debian.org . I think it is caused by my machine can not connect to a DNS server. doodler [EMAIL PROTECTED]

what's wrong with my sound card?

module for my sound card is still installed properly , I can see it use lsmod. I only installed a few debs these days and there seems to be no conflicts. I really confused ,may anyone give me some advices? Thanks. doodler [EMAIL PROTECTED]
