Im behind a proxy in my college where i cannot use gaim, as 5050 tunnelling is not allowed.
Can anyone suggest a tunnelling client with a frontend so that i can connect my gaim??
Your-Freedom works but im looking for something which is GPL'd.

when I run konsole in kde it does not use my profile when it starts so
like all my aliases are ignored and stuff like that. THe command I am
running is:
konsole --ls %i %mi -caption "%c"
I thought the --ls option solved this but apparently not. ANy thoughts?

I got it working I just have to have 123 open but I was under the

a server but I am still getting the same problems. I also opened port 123
on udp and tcp but that had no effect, and I really don't understand why
you need to open a port in order to just query the correct time. Here is

apt-get install ntp-simple ntpdate
I configured three servers from the ntp public server website here is an

/etc/rc.config like in SuSE) to hold a bunch of environment variables that
