Tunnelling??

Hello all. Im behind a proxy in my college where i cannot use gaim, as 5050 tunnelling is not allowed. Can anyone suggest a tunnelling client with a frontend so that i can connect my gaim?? Your-Freedom works but im looking for something which is GPL'd. Thanks. Regards, Pranith

I am dual booting xp and linux on a single harddrive. I got both booting with xp controlling the mbr and I added my linux grub bootsector to the xp boot.ini in order to get linux to boot. I installed debian off the sarge net install cd using the 2.6 kernel. The kernel that came with it runs fine

I just got me a new laptop the dell inspiron 8600 with a 60gig harddrive. I would like to set up a dual boot system on the one harddrive. The catch is I was thinking it would be nice if my linux system could see my windows documents and likewise. So to start with if I was going with a regular du

I am running a debian woody mixing stable and testing and very random few unstable packages with the 2.4.24 kernel. I just did an apt-get -u dist-upgrade and there was a couple upgrades none seemed very significant but it bombed out at the end. Now it bombs out everytime i do an upgrade and a coup

I was able to get ntpdate to run manually but it only seems to work if I open up 123 udp on my firewall. I modified the ntpdate init.d script to remove the -u option which seemed to help when I run that. But like you said shouldn't i be able to run this with the default debian install and more im

Thanks for the replies. I was able to enable my logs and run ntpdate with a server but I am still getting the same problems. I also opened port 123 on udp and tcp but that had no effect, and I really don't understand why you need to open a port in order to just query the correct time. Here is th
