Greetings-
I have an interesting situation that requires bridging some VLAN enabled
interfaces together on a Debian 7.x x86 system. On the host, there is a single
physical interface passing traffic natively (eth0), and two tagged VLANs also
passing traffic (eth0.2 and eth0.3).
The use case i

I have an interesting use case where a Debian Lenny server runs headless, and
is at the mercy of poor power conditions (environmental monitoring at a remote
storage building). We used to have issues with the server not coming up after
several reboots, but we gave it a bandaid by forcing an fsck
Greetings-
I've got a board with a Winbond W83L604G GPIO controller and I'd like to use it
with Debian 6.x (also 5.x if possible) for controlling attached LEDs. However,
using i2cdetect, I'm not seeing any I2C busses on the system, nor any I2C
devices. Does this controller require a specific ke

Greetings fellow Debian'ers-
I've got a system (Lenny, kernel 2.6.26-2-486)that occasionally fails to boot
fully. The last item noted on the console is 'Activating Swap', then nothing.
I've enabled bootlogd (/etc/default/bootlogd) and verbose mode
(/etc/default/rcS) but nothing of importance is
Greetings all-
I need to modify a product based on Debian. It installs from a CD and uses the
Debian installer system. Since this product does not contain the proper driver
for some of my hardware, I need a way to have the installer copy some files
from the CD (which I'll add to the master ISO)
Greetings all-
I've got some questions about Lenny and running from ramdisk. Hoping someone
can shed some light. ;-)
I have a very specific Debian Lenny based system I use for communications
(think VoIP and RS232 serial). This installation is very 'pared down', only the
essentials. I currentl
