Hi,
I've recently upgraded the linux-image-2.6-686 package to 2.6.14-5[1]. The
installation went as normal when new kernel images are installed, but the
ensuing reboot didn't work out as expected.
Immediately after the first IDE disk was detected, output like this was
generated on the console:

Hi,
After struggling with the onboard sata controller, on my brand new Dell XPS gen
3 at work, I finally got Debian booted and installed, using debian-installer
rc2. Unfortunately, a few kinks remain to be ironed out:
1) The Dell XPS comes with two 160 GB sata drives, which are only usable from

Hi,
I am trying to get my Nokia Cardphone working with a 2.6.6 kernel on Debian
unstable. So far I've been unsuccessful.
All the documentation I've come across via Google (including the driver
distributed by Nokia) is for the 2.4.x series, and as far as I can tell isn't
working/compiling with 2.6

I would suggest subscribing to the Evolution mailinglist at Ximians
website. Quite a few of the evolution develop

Hello
I've been looking into buying hardware to build a wlan at home, to avoid
all the annoying cables. However, determining which cards are supported
(and reasonably easy to get running) with a stock Debian GNU/Linux
(Unstable) install has proven tricky. Thus, I would very much like some
input on
