scripts in /etc/ppp/ip-up.d directory too? Is there an easy way to allow
non-root users
I just installed the ljet4 driver for my printer and used magicfilterconfig
to do it. I think you mean modconf rather than modconfig and you should not
have to do anything with it if you already had another printer working. If
this is your first printer, you might have to use the command modconf
I added the parport_pc module with modconf and my printer is working!

The lp was not in my /etc/modules files so I used modconfig to add it. When
rebooting, the messages indicated I had a device lp0. I then used
magicfilterconfig and it complained about an existing /etc/printcap file so
