and there are a couple of accounts I use Fetchmail to pull mail in
from.
Webmail I've not sorted yet. I did take a look at Squirrel mail a while
back, but haven't done a full evaluation yet.
Anyway, summary - Courier IMAP would be my recommendation.

CD install and then select which drive (I have two CDs in the system). Next it
complains that I don't have the rescue diskette in the drive. Anyone got any
ideas as to what could be wrong before I start burning new copies and then on
to re-downloading the ISOs.

Once I have it installed I can move on to the issue of the hidden dot file
directories it uses - fine for remote IMAP access, but no good when using Mutt
locally which I also do.

can't drive at 24 bit colour, but I can survive that for a while. I may nab
the newer driver and try that to see what happens. Thanks for the replies :-)

f the IMAP side of things, but having
noticed that Exim is installed by default with Debian I thought I'd re-evaluate
my choices.
I've only really used Sendmail so far. Had a brief look at Qmail and didn't
like the way you configured aliases much. Anyone got any comments?

In my last job I did this fine on the RedHat
6.2 install I inherited, but since I don't know the history of that install,
and to have access to the machine any more I can't use that to assist me :-(
I'm working with both the 2.2.18 and 2.2.19 sources btw.
