Iconos en el escritorio automáticos

Hola, trabajo con sid y kde 3.4.1. LLevo dos días tratando de averiguar "quién" hace aparecer en mi escritorio iconos de las particiones del disco duro cada vez que enciendo el ordenador (no cada vez que levanto las X o entro en KDE). De hecho, también se crean en /mnt/ unas carpetas llamdas

mobility radeon driver

fsck failed

files (1.1% non-contiguos), 191731222/83437590 blocks fsck failed. Please repair manually and reboot. Parece entonces que tengo un 1.1% del file system discontinuo (o algo así). Pero el problema es que no sé como repararlo manualmente. ¿Alguien sabe qué tengo que hacer? Muchas gracias. -- Pau
