When I do a apt-get install gnome I get a dependency error about x-screensaver-

At the moment I'm waiting...and waiting and waiting until I see GNOME2 show up
in dselect. I allready have SID installed but when I do a apt-get update...
still no Gnome2 shows up in the dselect lists. apt-get install gnome2 doesn't

It only goes wrong with the 2.4.19 kernel. 2.4.20 also doesn't work.
I included the config file I used to compile the kernel.
Can somebody help me out of this weirdness ?
