Does anyone know where to find floppy sized packages for Debian??? I need to download them on my XP computer and then transfer them using floppies onto my Debian box. Or if anyone happends to know of a file splitter for Windows that will make files I can join with a linux program that would w

change modem serial port

I just installed Debian on my computer and I guess I choose the wrong serial port for my modem because it doesn't work, I tried to find some way to change it without having to go through the entire reinstallation process but haven't been able to find one. Any help would be great. THANKS, MIK

gshutdown for non­root users? / gdm blank screen
