How should I proceed to make an identical copy of a CDROM?
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/image_of_cdrom bs=2048, then what? What
parameters should I give to cdwrite/cdrecord? Or is this way
impossible to take?
Right,

Hello.
I'm trying to build dpkg on a Solaris machine, to be able to look at .deb

Have anybody successfully done that and have some suggestions?

Hi.
Is there anybody that's using Debian and two computers talking to each other
through two SMC Etherpower cards, without a hub in between i. e. through a
twisted TP cable?
Please give me some advice how to make it work!
aTdHvAaNnKcSe,
Hi everyone.
I have problems with making a boot floppy during the installation of 1.2.
I do not have the exact error message but it appears when I have selected to
make a boot floppy for my system (just before the rebooting part). It's when
the installation program is formatting the floppy; it s

Hello to all!
I'm intending to put in two ethernet cards in two computers, so that I can nfs
mount /home and /usr in one (where disk space is limited) from the other
(where there's plenty of disk space).
I don't have a great deal to choose from from my hardware supplier:

Hello.
Yesterday I tried to install a buzz-fixed system. As the disk I wanted to
install onto, was a SCSI disk connected to a ncr810, I had to use one of
the special kernels - number 5 in buzz-fixed/.../disks-i386/special-kernels.
At the time of the part of installation where the kernel is inst
