It sounds like your hard disk is about to die
t is using that mount point?
Try this to see who is using that directory:
# lsof | grep '/home/micha/tmp'

If you can run it dynamically on your underpowered system, there are a
ton of plugins to add all kinds of functionality.

Try using LinEAK (Linux support for Easy Access and Internet Keyboards)
apt-get install lineakd lineakconfig
Works fine for my Compaq Armada M700.
