n't remove the modules from
within the installation procedure but you can as Alex explains, just edit the
modules file. You want to edit /target/etc/modules though, which is the one
that will be used by the system itself after rebooting.

Hi,
while moving my debian system to a bigger disk I ran into some weird problem.
The new disk is CHS 4956/16/63. If I boot from the old disk and check the
partition table, it seems to be OK. but if I boot from the new disk, cfdisk
refuses to run and fdisk complains about physical and logical parti
this still gave me unresolved symbols. Also, it looks as though
at least one of the symbols is apm related. I thought that apm wasn't part of
the standard kernel because of the buggy BIOS around (mine for instance...).
Should we file bugs?

cron scripts get run and the current /var/log/messages file gets renamed to
/var/log/messages.0 and a new one gets created. Is this something normal or
