Thanks, I was able to place a 2.2.5 kernel with the aic7xxx driver on
the rescue disk and it boots now.

detected (it has only a cdrom drive) but the first one is not.
Do I need a different rescue disk or just different parameters to the

I'm trying to have two NE2000 cards in the same box, I have this two lines
in /etc/modules
ne io=0x340,irq=15
ne io=0x300,irq=5
The first card is configured fine, but not the second. If I switch the
order then again the first one is fine.

What is the make of the card, I have the same problem with D-Link card. It
works with the de4x5 driver, you many need to find out what IO address it
is at. (This you should be able to get from the ifconfig command with the
current tulip driver).

I would second this, I have about 10 IBM drives between all the servers
that I admin. They run nice and cool. Yes, running cool is a feature that
