apt-get & /etc/apt/preferences oddities

tried to install the 9 new packages mentioned above. I think that *this* is the correct behavior. But *what* in the world made apt-get wanting to install these 9 packages in the first place? I think this is a bug! What do you think? Could anyone explain it to me? Regards, Julian Mehnle.
