I'm a contended Debian user but now ,unexpected, I've a problem.with for
me unknown reason.
When booting all kind of things are started.
at; 'starting printer spooler: lpd' nothing happens anymore, even after
15 minutes. I can only switch of the computer.
with a rescue-disk i could come in the syst
mount -t vfat /dev/sda4 /mnt/zip maybe, where /mnt/zip is your directory you

when booting I get the message vfat not supported by the kernel.
when I'm logged in and do as root mount /dosc there is no problem.
I've ofcourse in my fstab mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /dosc etc.
how is that possible and what to change so by booting the
windows-partities will be mounted?

Is there maybe missing a file or a file is dammaged ? but wich file?
I say this because my cdrom isn't 100% anymore.During
installations-procedures from cdrom i get sometimes io-errors and
reset-messages.
