I'm having problems configuring tmda to run on Sarge with the default
exim install. I've followed instructions in the tmda manual except:
echo "|/path/to/bin/procmail -p" > ~/.forward
I left this file empty since procmail is specified in exim.conf by
default.
All mail ends up being passed to p
I have read through the kernel-header docs, & am still not sure I
understand what they are for. I assumed that they enable source to be
compiled when using a kernel-image.
If this is correct, what is the procedure for compiling i2c-source or
lm-sensors-source?.

I was running Sarge on an Athlon cpu with ide/ext2 on a kernel compiled
from kernel-source-2.4.18. My system boots using grub from on a BSD

After installing kernel-image-2.4.19-k7 & initrd-tools a reboot fails
with:

My closest mirror is my ISP (Demon), but it has taken some time for the
mirror to update since Woody was released. Is it worthwhile changing my
sources now, or are these problems not unusual for this site?

I'm running a dialup workstation using Sarge with 2.4.18 compiled from
a source package. I'd like to understand the Debian approach for
keeping the kernel up to date (preferably using a minimum of
bandwidth).
Do package Debian kernel patches?, or are they only available for the
