Possible package breakage?

Hi, Looking in the potato packages file, I noticed that bsdmainutils depends on bsdutils(>=3.0-0). The version of bsdutils, in potato, is 2.9i-1 and recommends bsdmainutils. Per the packages file, bsdmainutils replaces bsdutils(<<3.0-0). Is this going to break anything? Thanks, Jim

newbie needs clarification

OPL3SAx sound card

Hi Has anyone been able to get this card to work? I've tried every combination in the kernel and the best I've gotten is a series of four tones, each at a higher frequency than the last. If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. TIA Jim
