I'm currently running the 2.4.18-bf2.4 image and am having trouble
getting my soundcard working on a Compaq 4130T. I've tried modconf but
upon trying to install the sb module I get an error saying:
/lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/sound/sb.o: init_module: No
such device

In trying to get my Armada 4130T laptop's soundcard working I've
obtained kernel-image-2.4.22-1-686 and installed it. I also modified
the lilo.conf file and it appears to be loading initrd on rebooting
the computer. However, as soon as the "BIOS loaded successfully"
message pops up t
I recently switched to unstable to get xfree-4 but now I'm paranoid
about apt-getting broken packages. Can I simply switch my sources list
to testing without loosing xfree-4 etc. or are there other
considerations?

new kernel (I was using 2.1.123 at the time) changed the socket() call.
When I upgraded to 2.2.1 and recompiled ntop, the problem went away. You
might try recompiling diald to see if that helps.
