Hi,
I bought myself a Dell L502X recently with Optimus technology (= dual graphics
card).  After a lot of playing, I discovered the latest edition of Mint Debian
Edition (the iso came out mid- August) will install and run on it without any
hitches.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of benefit buyin

I've just had a whole bunch of fun installing on a Dell XPS. The problems
sound similiar, but my impression on the Dell was that it was the Optimus
graphics that caused the problem-Â neither Intel, NVIDIA or Radeon apparently
have any responsibility (except to users of a decrepit OS), so
