I have a firewall box running Woddy 3.0r2 that gets its IP address
dynamically from an adsl modem.
Two or three times a day it looses the connection to the internet, an
ifconfig command won't show ppp0, so issuing "pon dsl-provider" usually
makes it work.
I have tried the same installation in

Hi,
After upgrading from 2.4.18-bf2.4 to 2.4.18-686, my monitor is always
on. I'd need to know what script should I reconfigure or how to get it
to work as before.
Thanks

Hi,
I am doing nat with a i486/16MB behind a 256/64Kb adsl dynamic ip. I
cannot seem to be able to download at more than 10Kb/s. However the same
box was giving me 26KB/s when I had a router between the adsl modem and
the i486's eth0. That router provided a static ip.

Hi People,
Does anybody now where can I get support for a 2230 FullOn 2x2 VA-Linux
server. It has an Intel 440+ dual Pentium 3 850MHz and a VA-Linux backplane
connected to its scsi output. Some distributions, including woody 3.0.1
won't even see the hard drive connected to that backplane. Californi
