There are some tools out there that have come default on my slink system,
namely ncpmount. It works well with NDS 8 and NetWare 5.1 (I have tested on
lower versions of both). I belive IPX support has to be loaded, though, dont
quote me on that one.

I have problems like this sometimes too -- any ideas on how someone
might get around a transparent proxy or to force the proxy to update
itself. I dont have any control over the proxy.
have been using the updated X for about a month now, and no problems
so-far.

Try checking each and every line in the cookie file to make sure that you dont
have more than one site listed for each line.
I did this, and corrected the incorrect lines and Netscape has treated me alot
better since.
