Hi all,
I recently installed a Debian testing (Bookworm). The system seems to
work quite fine. However, I stumbled upon a rather stragen problem with
Evolution. When I add new CalDav calendards and tasks lists Evolution
does not whos already existing entries from these calendars and task
lists. I
Hi Andre
I have a T440s and had a similar problem. However, at least in my
case, the solution was quite simple: the built-in screen is not blank,
only its brightness is reduced to 0 (for some stupid reason) when an
external monitor (or in my case a beamer) is connected.

Adding some noise too. I did a new installation of Jessie on a Lenovo
T440s about a month ago and immediately afterwards upgraded my desktop

Hi folks
I have tow rather fresh (about 3 weeks old) Debian 8 installations:
one on a desktop system and one on a Lenovo T440s. On both systems a US
keyboard is used. Although the US keyboards are great for writing code,
I sometimes have to write German on both machines. Thus, I was quite
happy
Hi
I can at least confirm the problem. There seems to be already a bug
report for gnome-shell
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=765436
I submitted a bug-report myself which I most probably will close as it
is a duplication of the above report.

Hi folks
since about a week empathy refuses to login to facebook independent of
whether the account is managed by GNOME online accounts or empathy
itself. The notification I get is always 'Network error'.
Does anyone have an idea what is wrong there?

Thank you guys for the fast response. I guess Sven is right. This makes

Hi folks
I have a problem with one of my private apt repositories. I created
the repo using reprepro on my public www directory.
I can access the repository with my browser (you can find it below

Has anyone an idea how to solve this problem?

I'm trying to use LDAP to administer the users on our

I tried to install OpenAFS on Debian Sarge 3.1.
To do this I used the afs-newcell script as described in the

I have a problem with matplotlib (0.8) and IPython (0.6.15) on a

Ipython crashes when one tries to make a simple plot. This is quite
strange since I changes from a former setup with ipython (0.6.13) to
iptyon (0.6.15) to use the GTK int
