Somebody suggested adding PEERDNS=yes to

Any ideas?

Please CC me on all replies since I'm not currently

specifically around paragraph 7. You might consider
the rest to be slightly OT.
I just got Verizon DSL last week and have yet to
manage to get online. I was unsuccessful with my
roommate's WinX
Got it working after installing some extra packages and modifying
/etc/network/interfaces based on the info in:
/usr/share/doc/linux-wlan-ng/README.Debian.gz
Here're the packages:

ii linux-wlan-ng-modules-2.4.20-686 2.4.20-5+0.1.15-
Please CC me on all replies, since I'm not currently subscribed to the

I just got a netgear ma311 wireless network card and, after compiling
a 2.4.20 kernel with the necessary hermes PCI/PCMCIA drivers (and just
