I need to read information in manual.txt
when I went to the /usr/doc/lilo subdirectory, the closest filename that
resembled this was Manual.txt.gz
This is not readable by an editor. Is there something special about the
.gz??

I created the following partitions on my PC with debian: linux, linux
swap space, and DOS 16bit >32MB on my PC. I made the DOS partition
the bootable one. Linux seemed to have continued to install
correctly.
When I rebooted the computer, the computer did not start into
eithe.
How do I instal
I installed debian on my computer last week. I left it sitting for the
weekend. When I returned, I found the following message updating every so
often on my screen: "couldn't get a free page"
