Netscape bus error

Hi I screwed up the first time I posted this, my apologies if there has been a double posting. I have just recompiled my kernel (potato) to get my sound card working and since then when I try to run Nescape 4.? I get "Bus error" returned after a little HDD grinding. Any ideas? TIA Brett

I just recompliled my kernel(potato) to try and get my sound card working and since then I am getting 'Bus error' when trying to load netscape 4.?, or communicator 4.5. I have found this question asked several times in the archives, but no answers :( Brett ******* B

paste appears to be disabled

Hi I have gpm running and at the console it is functioning perfectly. In wmaker (in any of the xshells) it appears to be functioning properly in everything except it wont paste I have tried killing gpm (sudo gpm -k), and I have tried it with various options all to no avail. It wont paste. My /
