You can try apt-get install kde=3.2.1-whatever
'=' allows you to specify version number.
BTW, I updated to KDE 3.2 with sid sources, does really Sarge have KDE 3.2?

Anyway, what would work is, provided you don't have a password set for
restricted lilo, write the following at the command prompt:
linux init=/bin/sh
