What worked for me was running alsamixer from the terminal and unmuteing the
main control and turning the volume all the way up. rebooted then tested with

What timeout is that, one on the server or one on the client
can I find the cause of this problem?

How can I find files which parent folders have the same name?
Long version:
For a friend of mine I'm helping with tidying up his files and folders.
What he basically did in the past was copying folders several times like
for (bad) backups... So many files have been copied
