Does anyone use Kylix with Debian? I have both Kylix 1 and 3 on a
Debian SID system. It appears that there's a problem with Kylix using
the SDL libraries. It may be a problem with the Xlibs being static
instead of dynamic.

Why are there some packages which won't install because they are
dependant on unavailable packages? Should a bug report be done for
these?

I'm currently running SID. Yesterday, I attempted to run a program that I
wrote which uses the SDL libraries. It used to work, but now I'm getting
unresolved symbol errors in libSDL-1.2.so.0. (XF86VidModeQueryExtension, for
example). Did SDL change or maybe XFree86?
