During the boot up of the installation it freezes at
md driver 0.36.3
MAX_MD_DEV=4, MAX_REAL=8
just wondering if anyone knew how to get past this point.

While starting the installation it says :
md driver 0.36.3
MAX_MD_DEV=4, MAX_REAL=8
You said to wait for a few minutes, well i left the computer
on for a few hours while i was at school , came back and it was still there, is
there any way of getting past this point in the installation ? Or
I'm installing from a hard drive and no matter what method i
choose ( boot disk or install.bat ), my computer freezes at :
md driver 0.36.3 MAX_MD_DEV=4, MAX-REAL=8
is there anything i can do to get the installation
working ?

So is it possible to just extract the first binary and install
debian with the minimum amount of software or is the second one required
?

At ftp.linuxberg.com
/.4/ISO/Debian/2.1_r2/i386 there are two binary files binary-i386-1.iso (611.37
megabytes) and binary-i386-2.iso (516.03 megabytes). I'm downloading the
first binary file and was just wondering if the second was another version or is
it required to be downloaded.
