i solved it 1 day ago with: apt-get remove --purge openoffice*
it removes everything and then i could just install a fresh one!

If you remember the approximate sizes/locations of the partitions, you
can use parted to locate them. It is a bit iffy, but it has worked for
me in the past.

tracked the problem down to a dying hard drive. I had various bad blocks

Atlast solved.i reported this as a bug.but it isn't.the maintainer of
pppoe package asked in email to remove the gateway address and will
work.so my new /etc/network/interfaces looks like this:

Trying to do things the Debian way, I installed the apache source
package. My only confusion there was I missed any instruction regarding
the order in which the debs were to be installed. So I took a guess and
installed them one by one, installing extra packages as required by
dependencies.
When I go to myserver.tld/horde I am administrator.
When I set auth to be Imap I can login and read my mails.
When I log out and try to login I get "Login failed because your
username or password was entered incorrectly." But it just worked?
What's wrong?

Does anybody knows a tool to convert OOo documents to PS without GUI?
On my laptop is not much space and such a converter could be handy to
