I'm wondering whether Debian could change the format of the distributed
.bin files in the installation floppies. Currently, it seems that the
.bin files are custom made and the program for creating them is not
openly available. I'm thinking that if the installation files are put in
the floppie
I noticed this warning also. The mga_24bpp_fix option didn't help my
problem, though.

I have gotten acceleratedX 5 to work on slink with no issues. Any only a few

that's been upgraded (via apt) to XFree86 3.3.4. The problem I'm
getting is dark bands that flicker on the screen whenever the on-screen
image is changing. The scanlines under the dark bands also seem to be

Why useless? If your /etc/printcap is set up right, magicfilter (or
whatever you use) will translate plain ASCII to Esc/P and print it
just fine.

apache-ssl, so I changed mode of suexec to 4711 and stoped/started
apache-ssl. But suexec does not seem to be recognized. Do I have to

Then I ran setup as normal user from the /opt/ directory and the
setup program installed basic files in my home directory.

everyhting set up okay, AFAIK.
I guess leafnode runs from cron.daily, but I want to pull down new

one. My problem is that during its setup, when it asks me to
create a boot disk and makes one, the disk doesn't seem to
work. When I reboot and put it in, all it says is 'Loadi
If you have customized the kernel, you will have to compile the new
one. Put the existing .config file in your source directory and use
'make oldconfig'. You will only be asked for those options which are
new.
