such that ghostscript is called automatically to convert the
PostScript input to the printer language.
It does not have to be smart, I only need the printer for
.ps files.
Does anybody now how to set this up?

"bo-updates" in there are all of the updates, with the changes info, that

Sounds like you have a CDROM listed in /etc/fstab. It will try to mount
that CD on boot -- even if none are found. I believe you should add a
noauto option in your fstab to take care of that. Or it could be a
module/kernel problem.

When my system boots, it claims it can't access my CDRom properly. It
keeps on trying to read, and then fails, and then tries again, and says
that it resets the drive.
