Hi all!
I was wondering if Debian has any admin programs that would allow
root to log off a user and kill off all of their processes?
We have tried simple scripts which would do a kill on all user
processes. Unfortunately this has given some other problems
with not always logging the user off pro

Pardon and ignore this message if it's out of place, but these files have
been misplaced for a little while and I haven't seen any talk about it on
the debian lists, so I just want to make sure that the archive maintainer
is aware of it before 1.2 development grinds to a halt. Some new Incoming

I start netscape like this:
netscape -geometry 1137x990+3840+1024 -ncols 64
Every new window it starts has those dimensions. The large offsets
cause it to come up in a different virtual desktop since the above

problem solved. The Netscape button in fvwm95's FvwmButton bar was

does anyone know how i can set the default window size for netscape?
i'm getting very bored of having to resize every "new browser for this

i know that it varies the size according to font chosen, but there's some
other factor involved too. While running fvwm2, i had the w

At some stage it had its name changed to "alien". At some stage later, the
documentation was updated to reflect this change. See if you have an

it, please drop this tar file in /usr/local and give it a whirl.

I just upgraded my news box to the latest rex stuff (my mirror is freshly

corruption on my news spool drive sometime in the last month.
i found the following files in /var/spool/news/control:

This I know. Install the lsof package, and use lsof (ls open files).
It will give a listing of all the open files and who's using them.
This program gets installed in /usr/sbin, an

Be sure you are loading _both_ the "fat" and the "msdos" modules. They
are two halves of the same driver.

After recomplied my kernal I lost MS-DOS FS support.
I tried setting FAT as both a module and static but MS-DOS will not work if
I compile it as a module. HPFS on the other hand works fine.

The new version of efax (08a-1) no longer accepts the "-l" flag for
the 'view' and 'print' commands. If I try to do anything with the
faxes I have (all received by the older 07a version) everything gets
compressed onto the top of the page.
Is there any way I can fix this, or is it a bug?
