I have this behaviour as well and KDE seems to be very unstable with
various applications segfaulting randomly (hence I am writing this from
Windows). This is on a new install of testing using the Debian Installe
On a box running testing I found out today that Konsole, the KDE X
console application, just froze instead of closing when trying to close
it. The problem must have appeared in a recent upgrade, as allthough I
don't use Konsole on a daily basis, I use it from time to time.
