unny 26 degrees here... Anyway, a google search for "port 16001" tells me that port 16001 is the default port for esd, the e(nlightenment?) sound daemon. So check if you have esd running, and if there are any apps that are trying to connect to it (is your wm trying to play sounds when you click on
