I see on Motif's transition tracker [1] there are a number of packages with
status 'unknown'.
I believe this is caused by packages that build-dep on *tif-dev, but do not
actually link any of the *tif libraries.
I have investigated and found that in most cases there is a Motif GUI that
is no longer
[dropped the unneeded -release CC]

Hmm, that was added by the bts, wasn't it? I sent the mail to the bug,
albeit only in CC (no TO).

I submitted this ben file some time ago, and I am glad to see it on the
transition
