Just to make one thing clear. *I* will not go down this road. I will *never*
collect the license statements 15000+ files.
If you want this, please remove TeX from Debian and all will be happy.

No, there hasn't been any CVE assignment.

Peter Palfrader asked me to fix #630606 in squeeze, as the large amount
of log messages is causing problems on some debian.org machines. I've
bodged it down to a reasonable level (one of these messages per key); it
probably ought to only log if no authorized_keys lines succeed or

Hi
I already mentioned this on IRC, but for good measure. I have put up a
draft for Release Goal documentation[1]. While I was writing it, I
realised that we encourage the usage of usertags and require that the

So I figured we could do the advocates a favo
Hi,
as far as I understood those are the changes planned for d-i
(Otavio, please correct me where I'm wrong):
* d-i will use sid as a development platform:
- d-i in unstable will use unstable as its udeb source,
instead of testing which is the case today
- It will be binNMUed on all archi
Hi!
I'm proposing to update procps in stable to have it support kernels
which advertise them as "3.0-something" instead of "2.6.x-something"
or "3.0.0-something". (There are some other packages that need
fixing, so this is a first step.)
The required patch has already landed in unstable (#632749)

Otavio is happy for us to start building kernel udebs from linux-2.6,
with the following provisos:
1. Installer team members (initially Otavio, Joey and Colin) will need
commit access, to update the module selections for udebs.
2. The automatic inclusion of module dependencies sometimes results i

Hi,
I'd like to have a sit down with relevant people to work out how we can
improve d-i and debian-cd handling for the next release. Please indicate
your availability at:

Before doing that, if you don't mind, I would like to add symbol files
to the C library.
