There's one outstanding bug in iptables that should be really
addressed for etch. Host and network names from /etc/hosts and
/etc/networks are erroneously padded as partial IP addresses. For
example, "myhosts.0.0.0". The problem has been fixed upstream and the

short time ago I've adopted the mantis package as it has been poorly
maintained in the while ago. Now there _is_ a well-improved, almost all
bugs-closing release in unstable, which seems to be blocked for
inclusion into etch.
