Hi, it seems there are no answers to this problem, isn't it? or perhaps
am I missing something?
Anyway, I experience the exact same issues that Gerry reported, even
though I use gnome:

Just noticed that the problem also occurs when I enter my password in
Icedove email client. It probably happens whenever some password is
entered in a popup window prompting for it.
