Like Stefanos, I get the same issue since today consequent to my daily Debian
testing updates.
Akonadi is in an incoherent state and the new Kmail does not work, I use
postgres backend too.

yes, i can confirm this. (My message is in German though). Kmail2 seem to run
fine except the notification you mentionened.
I migrated 3 computer from kmail1 to kmail2, all got the same effect.
One of the two 32-bit computers got additional problems with akonadi star

Hi,
the monolithic kdegames module has been split by upstream since
KDE SC 4.10 in few smaller sources.
The only loss package is kdegames-dbg, but that is expected of course.
